On this issue, BJP MP Dinesh Sharma said, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is an independent institution, which was formed under the legal process after the court decision. They have their own constitution for their functioning, so whatever legally correct decision they take following it, I believe it will fully respect religious sentiments. This will be their own decision and no other person has the right to comment on it in any way.”
Dinesh Sharma clarified that Ram Temple is a center of faith and every decision of the Trust will be taken keeping in mind the sentiments of the devotees. Outsiders should not comment unnecessarily on this.
At the same time, Bihar Minister Dilip Jaiswal in Patna also emphasized on transparency in Ram Temple. On the appointment of the first CEO of Ram Temple, he said, “The government has a clear stand regarding the Ram Temple that there should be no irregularities there under any circumstances. In the case of theft of Ram Temple offerings, very fast action was also taken and now the process of appointment of the CEO is going on.”
On the other hand, Congress has raised questions on this appointment. Attacking the trust, Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput in Lucknow, referring to the theft of offerings incident, said, “The trust has broken the trust of the people. The trust which has lost the trust of the devotees of Lord Ram and where allegations of theft of donations and offerings made for Lord Ram have come to light, is now appointing a CEO. This is not acceptable at all.”
