Mallikarjuna Nagar Youth Welfare Association has installed a 'Develop India 2047' themed Ganesh idol as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi at Lalita Bagh in Uppuguda, Hyderabad.
Speaking to IANS, Shrikant, who made the Ganesh pandal on the lines of developed India, said, “We have installed the idol of Lord Ganesha on the lines of developed India as per the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. To give information to the people about developed India, this time we have installed the idol of Lord Ganesha on the theme of Developed India 2027.”
Keeping in mind what India will be like in 2047, we have made a pandal and the idol of Ganeshji. We have tried to bring the country and Ganesh devotion together.
Last year we had decorated the idol of Ganesh ji and the pandal on the theme of 'Operation Sindoor'. This time a model of bullet train with bullock cart has been made in the pandal.”
Sushil Kumar said, “This time we have prepared the Ganesh pandal on the basis of Developed India 2047. An attempt has been made to show how India will be in 2047 and how far it will go. We are showing through posters the work that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is planning to do in the next 20 years. The pavilion has been decorated through posters on other development works including manufacturing and agriculture.”
Sushil Kumar said, “The pandal was decorated while installing the Ganesh idol on the theme of Operation Sindoor in 2025. This theme was very much liked and appreciated by the people. This year Lord Ganesha has been prepared as an armour.
This theme has been chosen this time to awaken patriotism and devotion to God in everyone. Along with puja-havan, cultural programs will also be organized in the pandal for the next 11 days.
