CM Dhami said that from August 10, a series of dialogues, discussions and talks has been started with the students of class 11th and 12th across the state on the topic 'How will the Uttarakhand of my dreams be'. A large number of students shared their views under this initiative. A total of 2,67,744 people wrote their views in this campaign, out of which 140 people were invited for dialogue. These participants were also rewarded.
CM Dhami said that the students have presented very good ideas about the future of Uttarakhand and the level of awareness and knowledge is visible in them. The new generation children and students of the state have the ability to think. What is needed is to provide them proper direction and opportunities. This process of dialogue is being continued to take forward the ideas of the students.
On the question of providing tablets to the students during the program, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the government will soon take steps in this direction. There are many families whose children do not have access to digital resources. In such a situation, so that they do not have to lag behind in studies and the changing technological world, the government has decided to provide tablets.
On the question of youth wandering or getting diverted on any issue, CM Dhami said that the youth are raising their demands in the right manner. The reasonable demands of the youth should be accepted and they should be sat down and listened to. While communicating with the youth, it is important to discuss their problems and demands in a logical manner.
