In this, the latest announcements of the administration, speeches of the President, public events and footage of Trump's previous events are being shown. The White House said through a post on social media that this broadcast will continue for 24 hours. This will include important developments in administration as well as old events. The initial broadcast featured footage of Trump's speech and his inauguration at Mount Rushmore.
The Trump Administration has banned journalists from CNN, MS Now and Politico from entering the White House grounds. These news organizations have filed a petition against the Trump Administration in the Federal Court. He claims that the journalists' passes were canceled without any prior notice or proper process. These news organizations have also said in the court that this decision violates the rights of the press and freedom of speech in the US Constitution.
Trump has accused these news organizations of publishing 'fake news'. Media has freedom to publish news; But they are not automatically granted access to the White House grounds or the press corps at presidential events. Due to the controversy, the five major American television channels – ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and CNN – have suspended their traditional White House television corps for presidential events.
