The Executive Committee of Western Railway Women Welfare Organization (WRWWO) organized Essay Competition on 13 September 2026 and Drawing and Painting Competition on 20 September 2026 for the children of Western Railway employees. About 200 children enthusiastically participated in both the competitions organized at Western Railway Headquarters, Churchgate.
According to the press release issued by Shri Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the essay and drawing and painting competitions were conducted on the same day across all the divisions of Western Railway. Both the competitions received excellent response from the children. A large number of children participated and displayed their creativity and imagination.
The Executive Committee members of WRWWO appreciated the participation of the children and their creative talent. To boost the enthusiasm of the participants, all the children were given stationery material as a token of appreciation.
This initiative reflects WRWWO's continued commitment towards encouraging the creativity, talent and overall development of children of railway employees.
