Special block, local and long distance trains affected in Kasara from 10 to 13 October!

Special traffic and power block is being taken by Central Railway from 7 to 18 October 2026 for pre-non-interlocking, non-interlocking and post-non-interlocking works related to Asangaon–Kasara Third Line Project and extension of Up Yard Line at Kasara Yard. This block will affect the operation of suburban local and mail-express trains between October 10 and 13.

This work on the third line between Asangaon-Kasara is part of the Kasara-Kalyan third and fourth line project. Once completed the project will help in separating the operations of mail/express and suburban trains. This will make rail traffic more smooth and will also increase the capacity to run additional train services in future.

  • 10 October: 3:35 pm to 9:35 pm
  • 11 October: 11:30 am to 6:30 pm
  • 12 October: 3:35 pm to 8:35 pm
  • 13 October: 3:35 pm to 8:35 pm
