'The fate of those who consider family as state is certain', CM Yogi's taunt on Akhilesh Yadav!

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the place of mafia is only in the soil. Havelis for the poor will now be built on the lands which were once occupied by the mafia. In Prayagraj, construction of multi-storey residential buildings for the poor, deprived and Dalits will be started on the land freed from mafia occupation. He said that now there is no mafia, the place of mafia is in the soil, now big mansions will be built for the poor.

The Chief Minister said that the double engine government is working with full commitment to protect the interests of the poor. He also warned those who cut the honorarium of sanitation workers. He said that it has been decided in Uttar Pradesh that if any person deducts money from sanitation workers, strict action will be taken against him.

On Thursday, CM Yogi was addressing the conclusion of the 76-day ward migration campaign and the Swachhta Mitra Samman ceremony of Varanasi Southern Assembly constituency MLA Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari. He praised the fourth edition of the campaign and described it as inspiring for other public representatives.

The Chief Minister said that the public representatives should stay among the people and solve their problems, ensure the protection of government construction works, and extend the benefits of the schemes to the eligible people. On this occasion, the Chief Minister honored ten sanitation workers by dressing them in bodysuits and gifting them bags.

Chief Minister Yogi, while mentioning the activism of public representatives, took a jibe at familyism. His reference was towards SP President Akhilesh Yadav. The Chief Minister said that when only the public representative will wake up at 12 noon, the person giving leadership will also wake up at 12 o'clock, will be happy among his family and will make the mistake of considering the family as the society and the state, then disaster is bound to happen.

He said that only those who consider the society, state and country as their family can bring change. The Chief Minister also targeted those public representatives who, once elected, stay in Lucknow and do not come to see their constituencies again.

He said that earlier, after taking work from sanitation workers, their wages and honorarium were cut. Many times even the full amount was not given. Now such arbitrariness will not happen. The government has given instructions to strictly ban reduction in honorarium. Arrangements have been made to give a minimum honorarium of Rs 16 thousand to the employees through Uttar Pradesh Outsource Corporation.

They will also get the benefits of treatment in hospitals, security insurance and PF under ESI. In case of death in an accident, the family will be able to get financial assistance. With the PF system, after retirement, employees will have their own capital and will not have to depend on others.

Chief Minister Yogi said that sanitation workers clean roads and neighborhoods when most of the people are sleeping. Even in winter, summer, rain, storm and festivals, they first prepare a clean environment for others.

Despite the arrival of 66 crore devotees in Prayagraj Mahakumbh, cleanliness was praised. Behind this was the hard work of the sanitation workers. He said that the foundation stone is not visible, but the entire grand building stands on it. The contribution of sanitation workers is also similar. The Chief Minister said that he lays special emphasis on honoring Swachhta Mitras in the programs of Municipal Corporations.

CM Yogi said that before the year 2014, filth in the streets of Kashi, jams on the roads and electricity crisis were common. Destitute cattle roamed the streets. The land mafia used to create an atmosphere of fear by occupying the land and houses of the poor and businessmen.

Kashi has been rejuvenated under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now it is moving forward with a new aura while preserving its spiritual and cultural heritage. He said that the government can get development work done, but the responsibility of their conservation lies with the aware society. Timely cleaning and repair increases the usefulness of public facilities.
