Clash with China continues on Arunachal border!

Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Director General Shatrujit Kapoor has said that there have been several face-offs between Indian and Chinese soldiers on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh. He also said that the newly deployed 'Shaurya' commandos of ITBP have done a very good job in these incidents.

During the 'Himveer Samman' ceremony held in Alwar, Shatrujeet Kapoor gave information about the situation at the border and the preparations of the force. He made it clear that in recent times, Indian and Chinese soldiers have come face to face at many places in Arunachal Pradesh and the situation has not been completely resolved yet.

Kapoor stressed the need to increase the use of modern technology along with traditional warfare methods to face challenges near the Chinese border. Drone squads have been formed in the border battalions of ITBP and soldiers are being trained in the use of drones and anti-drone systems. He also informed that a large part of the funds sanctioned for modernization of the force is being used to increase the capability of drone technology.

Special role of 'Shaurya' commando

ITBP has formed 'Shaurya' commando team to face the challenges in the border area. Specially trained to operate in high altitude areas, these soldiers are capable of responding quickly to difficult situations. Kapoor said that these commandos have played an effective role in the ongoing face-to-face incidents in Arunachal Pradesh.
