According to a report by SAC Nilk, 'Ramayana' has earned a whopping Rs 77.50 crore on the first day. Whereas it has collected Rs 127.50 crore worldwide. The shows of the first day of 'Ramayana' were housefull only due to advance booking. 'Ramayan' has become the third highest grossing film on its release day in 2026. It has also become a bumper opening film of Ranbir's career on the first day. 'Ramayana' has also broken Animal's record.

In the film 'Ramayana', Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi is playing the role of Sita Mata, and Yash is playing the role of Ravana. Apart from this, Ravi Dubey, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, Vivek Oberoi, Lara Dutta, Sheeba Chaddha, Adinath Kothare, Ajinkya Dev are in important roles. The film is directed by Nitish Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra. 'Ramayana' will be released in two parts, the second part of which is going to be released in 2028.
