From April 10 to 14, there were 951 accidents in total, leaving 911 people injured, the Bangkok Post reported.
Bangkok recorded the highest number of fatalities at 16.
On April 14 alone, there were 192 road accidents, 202 people injured and 30 deaths.
Speeding was the most common cause of the accidents, accounting for 38.54%, followed by drink-driving.
The most common age range of victims was 20 to 29 years.

April 15 marks the final public holiday of the Songkran festival this year, as large numbers of people are expected to begin returning to Bangkok and other major provinces, while some continue traveling in tourist areas, Nation Thailand reported.
Authorities in Bangkok have been instructed to strictly enforce laws, particularly in Songkran water-play zones and tourist areas.
The Songkran 2026 celebrations officially began on Monday but a surge of tourists had already started flocking to hotspots and locals traveling home as early as April 10.
Traditionally, the water fighting festival lasts nearly a week and draws tourists from across the world.
Despite its popularity, Songkran was dubbed the “seven dangerous days” by authorities to highlight the dangers on the roads during its celebration.
In 2025, Songkran road accidents claimed 253 lives.
