There is a stir in Indian cricket! NADA sent notice to 2 star players; Know the whole matter
There is a big stir in Indian cricket, because NADA has issued notice to 2 star players. Both the players have been accused of not being available during the scheduled dope test.
Team India players got NADA notice: There was a stir in Indian cricket when the news of the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) issuing notice to young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal and women’s team star opener Shafali Verma came to light. Both the players have been accused of not being available during the scheduled dope test, after which the first ‘whereabouts failure’ has been registered against them. As soon as this news came out, there was a stir in the cricket world.
According to the information, both Yashasvi and Shafali are part of the Registered Testing Pool (RTP) of NADA. Players involved in RTP have to share their location information with the agency regularly and it is mandatory to be present for testing at the scheduled time. It is being told that both the players were not available for the test at the scheduled time and no clear answer was given in this regard, after which NADA sent them a notice.
Team India: NADA issued notice
While giving information to PTI, a source said that official notices have been sent to the concerned players of Team India and this information has also been given to BCCI and ICC. However, NADA has not publicly commented on the matter and has cited confidentiality of the process. At present, no official statement has come from both the players on this matter.

Team India: BCCI also came into action on the matter
A BCCI source has also reacted on this entire matter. He said that the board has received information about the missed test from NADA and now answers will be sought from the players of the Indian team in this matter. Also, necessary steps will be taken to ensure that such incidents do not happen again in future.
The source also said that cricket has now become a part of the Olympics, so it has become very important for all the players to follow anti-doping rules. BCCI is also taking this matter seriously in view of the return of cricket in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Team India: Players are busy in IPL and international cricket
Currently, Yashasvi Jaiswal is playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026, while Shafali Verma was part of the Indian women’s team that recently toured South Africa. Between playing cricket continuously and travelling, players have to follow the RTP protocol, which requires being available for testing during a fixed time every day.
