Nate Silver said- 'I just have a strange suspicion that Donald Trump might find some excuse and step down. This may happen because they may become completely alone and this situation may also make them dangerous. Silver said that even though Donald Trump is not a bad person, he had made a promise to the Republican Party which he can no longer fulfill. He said- 'I think the Republican Party had, in a way, made a deal with the devil in the form of Trump. I don't mean that they are bad people. What I mean to say is that they got three Supreme Court judges, the rich got tax exemption, but in return they had to pay a very heavy price.
JD Vance can replace Trump
Silver also alleged that Trump has taken away the oxygen from everyone else in the Republican Party. This means that no one else was given a chance to flourish. He also believes that Donald Trump himself may step down so that JD Vance can take his place.

Silver expected that liberals (Democrats) would leave the Republican Party (GOP) behind in the November 3 elections. Talking to Ezra Klein of 'The New York Times', he said that a big victory for the Democrats could prove to be very important. Silver said that if the election results come as per the poll (survey) projections, then I think in a way it will be like the end of the Trump era.
