New Delhi: Police investigation has intensified in the case of murder of 21-year-old girl Muskaan by stabbing her with a knife in Tilak Nagar area of West Delhi. Muskaan, who lived in a rented house in New Mahavir Nagar, along with being a student, also did part-time modeling. She was alone in her house at the time of the incident.
Imran is said to be the main suspect of the murder.
According to the police, the main suspect in the murder is said to be Imran, who is a gym trainer. According to preliminary information, the accused and Muskaan knew each other for some time. Allegations related to stalking the girl and one-sided love have also come to light against the accused. However, the actual reasons for the murder can be confirmed only after police investigation.
It is being told that the accused entered the house and stabbed Muskaan several times with a knife. After committing the crime he fled from the spot. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigation and started scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the surrounding areas.
More than 15 police teams were deployed to arrest the accused
In this case, Joint Commissioner of Police, Western Range, Suman Goyal told the media that more than 15 police teams have been deployed to arrest the accused. He said that the police is busy searching for the accused and he will be arrested soon. He also clarified that the accused and the deceased knew each other for a long time, while other details related to the case are currently part of the investigation and cannot be disclosed at this stage.
There is an atmosphere of tension in the area after it came to light that the deceased and the youth belonged to different communities. Police are keeping an eye on the situation and people are being appealed to maintain peace and restraint. At present, police teams are searching for the accused as well as investigating all aspects related to the reason, incident and relationship between the two for the murder. Police say that further legal action will be taken based on the facts emerging in the investigation.
Police told that
A girl was stabbed to death in Tilak Nagar area on Wednesday evening. The deceased has been identified as Muskaan. According to the police, the incident was reported at around 7:24 pm.
The police team reached the spot, but by then the girl had been taken to Amar Leela Hospital in Janakpuri for treatment. Doctors declared him dead in the hospital.
Police have registered a case of murder on the statement of the deceased's brother and started investigation. During interrogation, the brother told that his sister was identified with a young man named Aaqib alias Imran living in the nearby area. The brother has expressed suspicion on this young man being behind the murder.
Considering the seriousness of the incident, the crime team and forensic team reached the spot and investigated and collected important evidence. Several police teams have been formed to search for the accused. Police are raiding possible locations to arrest the accused and footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is also being scrutinised. Further investigation is ongoing in the matter.
