23 parties, one platform and attack on Modi government, big messages can come out from the opposition meeting

Tezzbuzz Desk – Opposition parties have intensified their preparations for the Lok Sabha elections 2029. In this series, an important meeting of INDIA alliance is going to be organized at the Constitution Club of the national capital New Delhi on Monday. In this meeting, common strategy against the central government, opposition unity and upcoming political challenges are likely to be discussed in detail.

Many prominent faces including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leader Sanjay Raut and NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) leader Supriya Sule will attend the meeting.

23 parties registered their presence

According to the information given by Congress, 23 political parties of INDIA alliance have confirmed participation in the meeting. The main objective of the meeting is said to be to establish better coordination between the opposition parties and to finalize the future political strategy.

However, MK Stalin’s party Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, which is considered part of the alliance, will not attend this meeting. According to sources, the party has decided to maintain distance from this special meeting.

There will be brainstorming on government policies

Before the meeting, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that the opposition parties have similar thinking on many national issues. He alleged that due to the current policies, inflation, unemployment and economic challenges have increased, which are affecting the common people.

He also said that there will be extensive discussion among the opposition parties on issues related to democratic institutions, constitution and electoral processes. Besides, topics like investment, economy and foreign policy will also be included in the agenda of the meeting.

Will keep an eye on opposition unity

Political experts are also keeping an eye on what kind of common roadmap the opposition parties prepare for the upcoming elections. This meeting of INDIA alliance is taking place at a time when there is intense discussion about new equations and alliances in the country’s politics.

After the meeting, a joint statement or major indications regarding future strategy may emerge from the opposition parties.
