3 big gifts on Rakshabandhan, good news for women and daughters of Bihar

Patna: On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, the government has made many important announcements for the women and daughters of Bihar. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has announced three big gifts, laying emphasis on daughters' education, security and making women financially strong.

1. 10 thousand rupees every month to PhD students.

To promote higher education, it has been announced to provide financial assistance of Rs 10,000 every month to girl students pursuing PhD. This is expected to help the research daughters in their education and research related expenses.

2.Help up to Rs 2 lakh for startup

'Bihar Ki Beti Startup Challenge Scheme' has been started for women and girls to start their own business. Under this, eligible girls will be given financial assistance ranging from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 2 lakh to start a business or startup.

3. Free bus travel facility for two days

Giving great relief to women on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, it has been announced to provide free travel facility in government buses for two days. This will provide convenience to women going to their families and maternal homes during the festival.

Target to provide employment to 1 crore women

The government has also set a target to provide employment to 1 crore women in the coming years. Of these, there is a plan to connect 60 lakh women with animal husbandry, 25 lakh with manufacturing and 15 lakh with service sector. Besides, there is a preparation to provide assistance of Rs 600 crore to 5 lakh women under the Chief Minister Employment Scheme.
