London: A protest was held in front of the Indian Embassy in London on Wednesday to mark the anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Protesters also made no mistake in raising the Kashmir issue.

This anniversary was named “Yum-e-Istehal Kashmir” (Kashmir Exploitation Day). It is significant that on August 5, 2019, the Indian government, by presidential order, nullified most provisions of Articles 370 and 35A. Since then, Jammu and Kashmir has been more peaceful than ever.

According to a report by Pakistani channel Dunya News, protesters waved Kashmiri and Pakistani flags on the occasion. Some protesters said that Pakistan would take Kashmir from India.

The protesters alleged that the Indian Embassy in London was involved in anti-Pakistan and anti-Kashmir activities.

Protesters alleged human rights violations in Kashmir and demanded international attention. Members of the British-Kashmiri and Pakistani communities participated in the demonstrations. Significantly, since 2019, such Pakistan-sponsored demonstrations have taken place annually on August 5th.
