4 big decisions of CM Samrat, good news for the people of Bihar

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has made many important announcements regarding the development of the state. During a program organized at Bapu Auditorium in the capital Patna, he informed about the upcoming plans of the government to strengthen education, health, higher education and infrastructure. The Chief Minister said that in the coming years, work will be done on a large scale to give Bihar a new identity in the fields of education and health.

1. Target to build medical colleges and hospitals in all 38 districts

The Chief Minister said that the state government aims to establish medical colleges and hospitals equipped with modern facilities in all 38 districts of Bihar by the year 2030. This will expand health services and reduce patients having to turn to other states for treatment. Besides, new opportunities will be available for the youth in the field of medical education also.

2. Model schools will be built in 534 blocks of Bihar

The government has taken a big decision to strengthen the education system. According to the Chief Minister, modern model schools will be developed in 534 blocks of Bihar in a phased manner. Out of more than 14 thousand high schools present in the state, an excellent school will be created in each block, where better teaching, modern resources and quality education will be provided to the students.

3. Vikramshila University and 213 new degree colleges

To promote higher education, the Chief Minister announced that a target has been set to lay the foundation stone of Vikramshila University within a year. Apart from this, the process of opening 213 new degree colleges in the state will be started from this month itself. This will make it easier for the youth to access higher education and students from remote areas will get the opportunity to study near their district.

4.126 kilometer long marine drive will be built

To strengthen the infrastructure, the government has also put forward a plan to construct a 126 km long Marine Drive. The objective of this project is to improve the transport system, promote tourism and give new impetus to urban development. The government believes that such projects will also strengthen the economic activities of the state.
