After Delhi, the controversy has deepened regarding the live concert (music event) of Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh to be held on November 15 at C-21 Mall in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Acting on the complaint of a professor from Chandigarh, the District Child Protection Officer has issued an important order. Diljit will not be allowed to sing his 4 songs during the event. These songs include 'Patiala Pag', '5 Tara Theke', 'Jeb Mathe Lakhpuya' and 'Jatt Tehi Phere Karda Jehi Baniya Armaan Di'. On November 6, the District Child Protection Officer under the Women and Child Development Department in Indore issued a letter to the Revenue Management.

The letter said that the lyrics of these songs can have a negative impact on small children, therefore, arrangements should be made to ensure that these songs are not played during the event (concert). Diljit's 'Aara India' tour is currently going on. This is his second show in India. In view of the complaints received regarding the previous show, a formal notice has now been issued citing an order dated July 22, 2019 of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

After this order, the officer has issued instructions to ban the singing of four specific songs during the concert. It was said in the letter that children above 5 years of age are allowed to attend the event being held at C-21 Mall. Considering this, the lyrics of the songs can have a bad effect on children. A copy of this letter has also been sent to the Collector of Indore, the concerned Revenue Officer, Joint Director of Women and Child Development Department and Station House Officer (SHO) of Vijay Nagar Police Station.

In a complaint sent to the District Child Protection Officer, Dr. Panditrao Dhrenavar, a professor from Chandigarh, had demanded a ban on 4 specific songs. He also said that children should not be called on the stage and Diljit should not be allowed to wear a cartridge belt. He has also given many arguments in support of these demands.
