4 Upcoming Adventure-Ready Bikes From Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield has, over the years, become an aspirational brand among riders in India and across the globe. From producing neo-retro commuter cruisers, the company has come a long way and now offers a variety of models, including an electric city-commuter motorcycle. Royal Enfield also has a strong presence in the adventure-tourer segment, and here we have a list of four upcoming adventure-ready motorcycles from the brand that are expected to be launched in the market soon.

One of the most anticipated motorcycles from Royal Enfield this year is the Himalayan 750. The brand has been testing the bike for a very long time. It is based on a new platform and will come with an all-new chassis, swingarm, and suspension setup.

Royal Enfield might introduce two variants: a road-focused version and an adventure-oriented version of the same motorcycle. The bike will feature typical adventure-bike styling with tall long-travel suspension, a windscreen, large wheels, twin disc brakes at the front, and more. It is expected to use a new 750cc parallel-twin engine that generates around 55 bhp and 65 Nm of torque. It would be the first twin-cylinder adventure-tourer motorcycle from Royal Enfield.

Royal Enfield recently unveiled its first-ever electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6. Apart from this city-focused electric motorcycle, Royal Enfield is also working on a scrambler version of the same bike. It is called the Flying Flea S6 and is based on the same platform.

The motorcycle will come with slightly more rugged, crossover-inspired styling, which would justify the scrambler tag. It is likely to use the same 3.91 kWh battery pack as the C6, with a claimed range of 154 km. The S6 is expected to be priced slightly higher than the C6.

Royal Enfield is planning to introduce the Himalayan 440 in the market. It would be positioned as a product that bridges the gap between the Scram 440 and the current Himalayan 450.

It will retain the same design as the older Himalayan 411. However, Royal Enfield may equip the bike with more features than before. It might also be offered with refreshed graphics. The Himalayan 440 is expected to be powered by a 443cc air- or oil-cooled engine that generates 25.4 bhp and 34 Nm of torque.

Royal Enfield is also working on a scrambler motorcycle based on the Sherpa platform used in the Guerrilla 450. It is expected to feature design elements inspired by the Guerrilla 450, along with typical scrambler styling, including minimal body panels, long-travel suspension, and dual-purpose tyres.

At the moment, it is not clear whether Royal Enfield will launch this as a new product and sell it alongside the Scram 440, or replace the existing Scram model. We assume that both models will be sold alongside each other, as they would cater to the needs of different types of riders and also help Royal Enfield expand its scrambler lineup.

It will be powered by a 452cc liquid-cooled Sherpa engine that generates 40 bhp and 40 Nm of torque. As this is a scrambler, Royal Enfield may tune the engine and gearbox differently to suit its intended character.
