A 41-year-old father from Guangdong, China, has drawn widespread attention online after viewers were stunned by how young he looked while attending his 21-year-old daughter’s wedding.
A video filmed in late August showed Zheng, a tall and stylishly dressed father, walking his daughter down the aisle in Chaozhou, Guangdong, according to 8days.The clip quickly went viral, with many viewers initially assuming the pair were siblings or close in age.
Despite the nearly two-decade age difference between father and daughter, Zheng’s youthful appearance often leads to confusion. He says strangers regularly mistake him for his daughter’s older brother or even her boyfriend when they are seen together.
His son-in-law was reportedly just as surprised when meeting him for the first time.
Asked how he manages to look so young, Zheng revealed that it comes down to “keeping a calm mindset and maintaining a healthy routine.”
He follows three main habits that he believes have helped preserve his youthful appearance, according to Dimsum Daily.
He tries to remain emotionally relaxed, rarely losing his temper or allowing negative feelings to overwhelm him. He also prioritizes sleep, saying he gets around 10 to 12 hours a day.
Regular exercise is another part of his routine. Zheng plays badminton three to four times a week to stay active and maintain his fitness.
The wedding video attracted numerous comments from astonished social media users. Many said they found it difficult to believe Zheng was already 41, with some remarking that he and his daughter looked more like siblings than father and daughter.
