Patna. Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary made many important announcements regarding the development of the state in the youth dialogue program organized in Jamuhar, Rohtas. He said that the aim of the government is to strengthen employment, roads, air connectivity and irrigation facilities in Bihar, so that the youth and farmers can get better opportunities.
1. Work on Sasaram-Patna NH will start soon
The Chief Minister said that the work on Sasaram-Patna National Highway is expected to start in the next two months. This will make transportation between the two cities easier and will also provide better connectivity to Rohtas and surrounding areas.
2.Indrapuri Reservoir Project will gain momentum
The Chief Minister also said something important regarding the Indrapuri Reservoir Project which was pending for about 26 years. According to him, work will be done towards making it a reality. After completion of the project, a large part of the water of Son River will be used by Bihar.
3. Irrigation up to 44 lakh hectares of land
The government aims to connect about 44 lakh hectares of land with irrigation facilities. Farming and farmers can directly benefit from this. Strengthening the irrigation system is also expected to support agricultural production and rural economy.
4. Employment to youth in the state by 2030
The Chief Minister described employment as one of the main priorities of the government. He said that the aim is to create such a Bihar by 2030, where the youth do not need to go to other states for jobs or wages. For this, emphasis is being laid on rapidly progressing infrastructure and development projects.
5.Target of 10 airports before 2029
The Chief Minister also made a big claim regarding the expansion of air services in Bihar. He said that work is being done to prepare 10 airports in the state before 2029. Better air connectivity is expected to boost trade and investment.
