5 year old innocent murdered after kidnapping, black money of Rs 15 lakh became the reason
The murder of innocent five-year-old Dipanshu Kumar, who was kidnapped from Barsa village of Kasar police station area of Sheikhpura district of Bihar, has shocked the entire area. There is mourning in the village after the mutilated body of a child missing for nine days was recovered from the cave of Sumbha mountain in Kauakol, Nawada district. The truth that came out during the police investigation in this sensational case surprised everyone. According to the police, this innocent child was murdered over the distribution of Rs 15 lakh related to cyber fraud.
Dipanshu had disappeared while playing
The deceased Dipanshu was the son of Kanhaiya Pandit, resident of Barsa village. On the evening of May 7, he suddenly went missing while playing in the village. Initially the family members searched at their own level, but when no clue was found for two days, a case of kidnapping was registered at Kasar police station on May 9. After this, the police formed a special team and started investigation.

During the investigation, the police found some indications which suggested that the case was not a simple kidnapping but related to some big criminal network. Gradually it was revealed that about Rs 15 lakh related to cyber fraud had come into the account of the deceased’s father. There was a dispute going on among some people of the village regarding the distribution of this amount. Police believe that Deepanshu was kidnapped due to pressure and involvement in this dispute. Later, due to fear of his identity being revealed, he was brutally murdered.

In this case, the police have arrested four accused from Barsha village, Santosh Manjhi, Pradeep Manjhi, Ajit Manjhi and Sandeep Manjhi respectively. Following the trail of the arrested accused, the police reached Sumbha Pahad in Kauakol police station area of Nawada district, where the body of an innocent child was recovered from a cave. The condition of the dead body was so horrific that even the policemen shuddered after seeing it.
SP said – the child was kidnapped over the distribution of money
Shekhpura SP Baliram Kumar Chaudhary said that the angle of money related to cyber fraud has come to light in the SIT investigation. He said that the accused kidnapped the child to divide the money and later killed him and threw the body in a cave in the mountain. The police have arrested four accused, while the search is on for the other three accused involved in this murder.

Then Deepanshu’s life would have been saved.
The saddest aspect of this incident is that if the entire truth had been revealed to the police in the beginning itself, innocent Dipanshu’s life might have been saved. The people of the village are also shocked by the extent to which humanity can stoop due to the greed for money. Dipanshu’s death has once again raised the question that the web of cyber crime is no longer limited to just financial loss, but its links are now also linked to heinous crimes like murder.
