6 big decisions of Bihar government, good news for citizens!

Patna.To increase the pace of development in Bihar, the state government has approved several important decisions simultaneously. With the approval of the Cabinet, preparations are being made to strengthen road connectivity, provide irrigation to fields, increase storage facilities in villages and promote new technology. The impact of these decisions can be seen not only on common people but also on farmers and rural areas.

1. New expressway will be built between Buxar-Bhagalpur

The state government has approved the plan of about 336 km long 6-lane greenfield expressway between Buxar and Bhagalpur. This corridor will pass through many important districts. This controlled entry road is expected to save time in long distance travel and improve connectivity between major cities. The project is planned to be developed on PPP model.

2. 11 thousand tube wells will be installed for irrigation of fields.

The cabinet decision is important for farmers also. The plan to install 11 thousand private tube wells in the year 2026-27 has been approved. An amount of Rs 305.60 crore has been sanctioned for this. Its objective is to provide reliable water source for irrigation to the farmers, so that the dependence on weather in farming can be reduced to some extent.

3. The canals of Narpatganj will also be rejuvenated.

To strengthen the irrigation network, Jankinagar branch canal of Narpatganj area and its associated canals will also be repaired. Rs 30.35 crore has been sanctioned for this project. After completion of the work, the irrigation system in the concerned areas is expected to improve.

4. New warehouses will be built for farmers

There is a plan to create 48,200 metric tonnes of new storage capacity in the state to increase the facilities for storing agricultural produce. Warehouses of different capacities will be built and about Rs 34.95 crore has been sanctioned for 52 societies. With this, farmers are expected to get better local facilities for storing crops.

5.Focus on AI will increase in Bihar

The government is now preparing to increase investment in the field of modern technology also. An agreement has been approved between Toyo AI India Private Limited and the State Information Technology Department to carry forward the work related to Artificial Intelligence. With this, emphasis will be laid on technical training, innovation and creating new employment opportunities.

6.Canals will be improved in Katihar

To improve the irrigation system of Katihar district, many canals and sub-distributaries will be repaired and restored. About Rs 35.82 crore has been sanctioned for this work. With better condition of canals, it will be easier to deliver irrigation water to the fields.
