How to avoid heatstroke in summer?
- Try not to go out when the sun is at its hottest, i.e. in the afternoon.
- To keep your body cool in summer, always wear light colored and cotton clothes.
- Whenever you have to go out in the sun, make sure to use a cap, scarf or umbrella on your head.
- Keep drinking plenty of water and other fluids little by little throughout the day so that the body remains hydrated.
- Apart from plain water, include things like coconut water, lemon water and buttermilk in your diet.
- If you are forced to work in the sun, do not work continuously. Take rest in the shade in between.
