60 cases were heard in the public hearing program of the District Officer

Today, in the public hearing program organized at the Collectorate at the District Headquarters, District Magistrate Taranjot Singh heard the complaints of all the complainants one by one and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officers to resolve them. 60 cases were heard during the programme. Among these, complaints related to land disputes, revenue related issues, social security pension, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, electricity supply, drinking water system, road construction and repair and ration card were prominent. Many cases were resolved on the spot with the intervention of the District Magistrate, which brought immediate relief to the people.

In the public hearing, other applicants including Jagranath Hazra, Ramanuj Rao, Madhurendra Yadav, Lalita Devi, Sheshnath Prasad, Nitesh Kumar, Mithun Ram, Sudama Yadav, Nehal Akhtar, Ruby Rani presented their problems before the administration. This program was organized under the Sabka Samman-Jeevan Aasan campaign being run under Seven Nishchay-3. People coming from different blocks and panchayats of the district put their problems directly before the administration. During the public hearing, Additional Collector Rajiv Ranjan Sinha, Additional Collector cum District Public Grievance Redressal Officer, Anil Kumar Sinha, District Land Acquisition Officer Amarendra Kumar, Senior Deputy Collector, Rochana Madri, PGRO, Bettiah, Masoom Ansari and officials of various departments were present.
