Japan Earthquake was shaken by severe earthquake. The quake measured 7.5 on the Richter scale. A tsunami warning was issued for the northeast coast of Japan immediately after the earthquake. However, no information about the damage caused by the earthquake has been released yet. Transportation services were disrupted due to the earthquake. After the powerful earthquake, many people were gripped by the horror of Fukushima.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, a strong earthquake shook the northeastern coast of Japan on Monday morning. The epicenter of the earthquake was 10 km deep in the Pacific Ocean. Then a tsunami warning was issued. According to sources, the sea has started to get rough after the earthquake. Japan’s disaster response forces have already begun evacuating coastal areas. Coastal areas such as Iwate, Aomori and Hokkaido are expected to have tsunami waves of up to 3 meters. On the other hand, special precautions have also been ordered at Japan’s nuclear facilities. No damage has been reported in the earthquake so far. Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi said a task force had been formed following the earthquake. Besides, he also urged residents to evacuate from the coast to safer places.

Note that in 2011, a tsunami hit Fukushima due to an earthquake that occurred quite far from the coast of the Pacific Ocean in the Tohoku region of Japan. Due to which three local nuclear reactors were damaged. Radioactive particles spread in the area. Fukushima is the worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl. After that incident, the Japanese government shut down all 54 nuclear reactors. Subsequently several reactors were commissioned to meet the fuel demand in the country.
