7 seater SUV: Skoda Auto India has introduced the new Skoda Kodiaq (Skoda Kodiaq 2026) with updates. This time, instead of making major changes in the design of the SUV, the company has focused on making its safety features, ADAS technology and connectivity more advanced than before. The new Kodiaq now comes with enhanced driver assistance and smart technologies, further enhancing its premium experience.

Design and cabin
There have been no major changes in the exterior design of the new Skoda Kodiaq and it looks as muscular and premium as before. However, the technology and features in the cabin have been improved. The large touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster have been retained as before, but smartphone connectivity and user experience have been made smoother through software updates.

Advanced ADAS and safety features

  • The 2026 Kodiaq now gets more advanced ADAS features than before. This includes features like lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and blind spot monitoring. Apart from this, facilities like turn assist, crossroad assist and exit warning have also been provided. According to the company, the new radar sensors are more accurate than before.
  • This SUV is also provided with safety features like 9 airbags, ESC, multi-collision brake, hill descent control and adaptive headlights. The ADAS technology will currently be available in Kodiaq Sportline and L&K variants.

new technology updates
Features like 360-degree camera and LED strip in the front grille have also been added to the 2026 Kodiaq Sportline model. However, there has been no change in the initial Kodiaq Lounge 5-Seater variant.

Engine and Performance
There is no change in the engine of the new Skoda Kodiaq. It has a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which generates 204hp power and 320Nm torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which sends power to all four wheels.
