Norton Manx R: Norton launches new premium superbike, know price and features details

Norton Manx R: British motorcycle company Norton Motorcycle has launched its new superbike Norton Manx R in Britain. This is the first model of the company’s new four-bike range. The starting ex-showroom price of the new Manx R has been kept at 20,250 pounds (about ₹ 26 lakh), while the price of its top variant goes up to 38,750 pounds (about ₹ 50 lakh). This superbike has been manufactured at the Solihull plant in Britain and can also be launched in India by the end of 2026.

Powerful engine and performance
The new Norton Manx R has a 1,200cc liquid-cooled V4 engine, which is considered to be the company’s largest supersport engine till date. This engine generates power of 203bhp at 11,500rpm and torque of 130Nm at 9,000rpm. The bike also has the support of quickshifter with 6-speed gearbox, which makes riding more smooth and sporty.

different variants
The base model of the Manx R comes with adjustable Marzocchi suspension, composite bodywork and cast alloy wheels. Whereas semi-active electronic suspension is available in Apex variant.
The most premium of the range, the Signature Trim comes with carbon fiber bodywork, lightweight Rotobox carbon wheels and a single-seat setup. It also has stainless steel exhaust and a special digital dashboard.

hi-tech features
The superbike gets advanced features like 8-inch TFT display, traction control, cornering ABS and multiple riding modes. Apart from this, app connectivity is also provided.
The aluminum frame of this bike weighing 204 kg makes it light and strong.

Launch and competition in India
Due to the FTA agreement between India and Britain, its price can be kept relatively low. According to reports, TVS Motor Company may bring it to the Indian market by the end of 2026. After launch, it will compete with premium superbikes like Ducati Panigale V4.
