After the success of ‘Kartikeya 2’, ‘Swayambhu’ has become the most talked about film among Nikhil Siddharth’s upcoming films. The grandeur of the teaser, the historical background, the amazing visuals and the powerful action sequences literally mesmerized the audience. The teaser further fueled the excitement for the film, garnering more than 18 million views. The first song that was released after that, ‘Ra Ra Dheevara’ was also a huge hit and got more than 13 million views on YouTube.

Meanwhile, the makers of the film have shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes video on social media. In this video, Nikhil Siddharth and renowned cinematographer Senthil Kumar are seen visiting the VFX studio where the film’s post-production work is underway. He is seen discussing with the artists, reviewing the shots and guiding the entire creative process.

Over 750 CG artists

The makers said that more than 750 CG artists are working day and night to deliver the best quality experience and more than 2700 VFX shots are in progress. He assured the audience that the film will be released with complete perfection and it will be a grand cinematic experience.
Sharing this update, the makers wrote, “Swayambhu is in full swing. Renowned cinematographer Senthil Kumar and the entire team personally visited the VFX studio… 2700 VFX shots, clarifying that the release date will be announced in due course.

Set against the backdrop of India’s glorious golden age, the film’s teaser has given glimpses of a plot steeped in history, valor and cultural pride. Revolving around the impressive significance of Sengol, the story feels like an epic journey of heritage and religion. Nikhil Siddharth is seen in a very powerful and intense role, and the movie has impressed the audience with its magnificent visuals, impressive drama and thrilling action.

Music by Ravi Basrur

A large team of industry veteran technicians and creative artists have come together for this film. Directed by director Bharat Krishnamachari, the film has music by Ravi Basrur of ‘KGF’ and ‘Saalar’ fame. Cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar of ‘Bahubali’ and ‘RRR’ has captured the spectacular visuals while Tammiraju of ‘Bahubali’ has handled the compilation. With a long shoot of over 170 days, the film is considered one of the most ambitious projects in recent times.

‘Swayambhu’ is produced by Bhuvan and Srikar of Pixel Studios. This grand cinematic tribute to India’s rich history and immortal glory will be released worldwide in Summer 2026.
