Mohanlalganj, Lucknow. The 80th Independence Day was celebrated in an atmosphere of joy and patriotism under the aegis of Shivay Seva Samiti on Saturday at the Mini Stadium in Mau. The program started by hoisting the flag by committee chairman and teacher Ashish Chaturvedi. After this the people present collectively sang the national anthem. The entire campus was drenched in the colors of patriotism with the echo of the national anthem.
After the flag hoisting, committee president Ashish Chaturvedi lit the lamp and offered flowers at the feet of Maa Bharati. During this, the people present remembered the sacrifices and sacrifices of the immortal martyrs and great men who sacrificed everything for the freedom of the country.
The main attraction of the function was the cultural presentations by the little children of Mau Primary School. The children received a lot of applause by giving captivating presentations of patriotic songs, folk songs and cultural dances. Children's presentations added to the program and the whole atmosphere was colored with patriotism.
Educational material given to children
Shivaay Seva Samiti encouraged the children and provided them with pens, pencils and other educational materials. This effort of the committee was appreciated by the people present. At the conclusion of the program sweets were distributed to everyone.
Committee Chairman Ashish Chaturvedi said that the objective of Shivay Seva Samiti is to convey the message of patriotism and patriotism to every person. The priority of the committee is to introduce the young generation to the works and personalities of immortal martyrs and great men and to inspire them by their sacrifice and penance.
