900-kg bull roams Spain bar during breakfast, shocking diners

Breakfast took a wild turn at a bar in Spain’s northern Catalonia when a 900-kilogram bull wandered through the front door after becoming separated from its herd on Monday.

CCTV footage shows the huge animal strolling between tables and heading towards the back of the bar, where an older couple was standing. Customers froze as a waiter calmly approached the bull and guided it backwards towards the exit.

After around 20 tense seconds, the animal backed out through the same door, without injuring anyone or causing any damage. Around 20 people were inside at the time.

The unexpected guest entered Bar Gusi in Ribes de Freser, Girona Province, at about 9:45 a.m. local time (08:45 GMT), as cattle were being moved from grazing land near Campelles to a local farm.

The three-year-old bull had reportedly been bringing up the rear when it became separated from the herd. It apparently tried to follow the sound of the other animals’ cowbells, but took several wrong turns before ending up at the bar.
