94th IAF Day: The Indian Air Force is celebrating its 94th anniversary on Thursday. On this occasion, an exhibition was organized at Hindon Air Force Station, Ghaziabad. On the tarmac, the Air Force put a formidable lineup of combat power on static display, including frontline fighter jets like Rafale, Su-30 MKI and Jaguar; indigenous rotary platforms such as Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) Prachanda and Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv; Seen with significant weapons and air defense systems.

The parade began at Hindon Air Force Station in the presence of the three service chiefs, senior military officers and several former air chiefs. Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh arrived at the parade venue in a 1960s vintage car and three helicopters in 'flag' formation did a flypast overhead. The ceremony highlights the emerging operational readiness, self-reliance under Aatmanirbhar Bharat and decades of service of the force in protecting the skies of the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh said, “Today, the world is undergoing rapid change, giving rise to uncertainty and complex geopolitical challenges. New conflicts are emerging in different parts of the world. These events have clearly demonstrated that air power is the primary means of protecting national interests. The Indian Air Force, being the custodian of air power, understands its role and responsibilities, and is always alert, committed and prepared to deal with any contingency.” Remains ready.
The Air Chief further said, “We believe that any Air Force can have the most advanced aircraft in the world or the most advanced systems in the world, but its true strength is measured by its operational preparedness, that is, how quickly and confidently it can act whenever the call comes.”
