An adorable moment between a father and son at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Australia has broken the internet, showing immense love and respect for the batting legend Virat Kohli. A father introduced his son to one of the greatest batters of the time for the first time. He called Kohli the best batter as the player was busy in the nets ahead of the Boxing Day Test in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25.
The father pointed towards Virat and urged his son Jamie to look at the best batsman in the world.

Kohli has been trying to leave the balls that are pitched wide of the off stump. Virat is one of the most followed cricketers worldwide, and his influence is making young kids take up cricket as their profession.
Kohli is loved by fans in Australia, and former and current Australian players think he is like them and play cricket the Aussie way. Kohli’s aggression and passion have made him a household name Down Under.
However, he has been going through a rough patch and will be aiming to bounce back in Melbourne. The batter scored a hundred in the second innings of the series opener but has failed in other three innings in two Tests.
This is probably Virat’s last tour of Australia, and he would like to end it on a high. He has been impressive at the MCG with 316 runs from a couple of red-ball matches. He scored a big hundred (169) at the same venue in 2014.
