A Science-Driven Approach to Plant-Based Supplements

Founded in 2020 by Sachin Darbarwar and Shweta Darbarwar, ZeroHarm Sciences focuses on developing plant-based nutraceutical products using proprietary nano-formulation technology.

Unlike many supplement brands that rely heavily on marketing claims, ZeroHarm positions itself as a “Trust over Promise” health platform. Its core philosophy revolves around delivering measurable health outcomes rather than just aspirational wellness messaging.

By improving how nutrients are absorbed and utilized by the body, the company aims to enhance the real-world effectiveness of natural supplements. This evidence-backed positioning is increasingly resonating with health-conscious consumers seeking transparency and proven efficacy.

Nano Technology Meets Ayurveda for Preventive Care

At the heart of ZeroHarm’s innovation is its nano-formulation process. The company converts plant-derived nutrients into nano-sized particles, significantly improving bioavailability. This allows nutrients to be absorbed more efficiently and released in a controlled manner—even at lower doses.

The startup integrates traditional Ayurvedic principles with modern nanotechnology. By combining ancient plant knowledge with advanced delivery systems, ZeroHarm seeks to create preventive health products that maintain natural integrity while maximizing clinical impact.

To ensure quality and traceability, the company directly manages its supply chain. It sources medicinal plants from a network of over 10,000 farmers in Northeast India and the Himalayan region. This farm-to-formulation model not only ensures raw material consistency but also supports agricultural communities engaged in medicinal plant cultivation.

ZeroHarm has also secured patents around its nano-formulation innovations, including:

  • Turmeric-based phytochemicals

  • Iron and folic acid combinations

  • Carotenoid-based formulations for eye health

  • Synbiotic compositions for gut health

These intellectual property assets strengthen its competitive moat in an increasingly crowded nutraceutical market.

Expanding Product Portfolio and Distribution Network

ZeroHarm Sciences currently offers more than 60 SKUs across diverse health categories, including:

  • Diabetes management

  • Cardiovascular health

  • Joint care

  • Immunity support

  • Gut health

  • Oncology support

  • Women’s wellness

  • Performance nutrition

The brand follows a multi-channel distribution strategy. Products are available on its official website as well as major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart. Additionally, the company has tapped into quick-commerce platforms to enable faster delivery to urban consumers.

According to the company, its products have been used by over 300,000 customers to date—highlighting growing demand for plant-based, preventive health solutions in India.

Riding the Nutraceutical Growth Wave

India’s nutraceutical sector has been expanding rapidly, driven by rising health awareness, lifestyle-related disorders, and a broader shift toward preventive wellness.

The domestic nutraceutical market is projected to reach $18 billion by 2025. Globally, the market is expected to surpass $720 billion by 2027, reflecting robust demand for supplements and functional health products worldwide.

ZeroHarm operates in a competitive landscape alongside established and emerging brands such as:

  • Kapiva

  • Plix

  • HealthKart

  • Wellbeing Nutrition

However, the company believes its proprietary nano-technology platform and vertically integrated sourcing strategy offer a distinct advantage.
