Gujia is made in many parts along with various dishes like Puranpoli, Katachi Amti. It is customary to make gujiya in northern India during the Holi festival. Everyone likes to eat food that is sweet in taste. The crescent-shaped fried sweet is filled with soft, sweet saran. This saran is made from dry fruits. But the gujiyas bought from the market are always brought. During festival days, market food is heavily adulterated. So instead of eating adulterated food, eat home-made food. Materials:

  • eat
  • ghee
  • nuts
  • Almonds
  • Cardamom powder
  • flour
  • sugar

Action:

  • First of all to make Gujia, add ghee in a pan and mava. After that, stir the mawa until the ghee is released.
  • Remove the baked mawa and keep it in a plate to cool. In the same pan, heat ghee and add semolina to it and fry the khamang.
  • Then roast all the dry fruits in a pan. This will make the food taste beautiful.
  • After cooling all the roasted ingredients, mix them together and add dry grated coconut.
  • Add salt and flour to the plate and mix together. Gradually add water to the prepared mixture and knead into a thick dough.
  • Make small mounds of the prepared dough and fill it with dry fruit pulp and grease the karanji with water or milk on both sides.
  • Fry the Gujia in hot oil till it turns red. After the roasted gujias cool slightly, keep them in sugar syrup.
  • Gujia should not be kept for long time. Due to this, the Gujia is likely to dissolve.
  • Gujiya made in a simple way is ready. This dish tastes very nice.
