Harry Brook said about this in the post match presentation ceremony after the defeat, ‘We thought that due to the pitch being fresh, there could be some grip in the beginning and we expected a little more spin in the first innings. Speaking on the mistakes made in bowling, captain Harry Brook said, ‘There were just a few mistakes in bowling here and there. We probably didn’t play as well as we could have. But Indian batsmen are some of the best batsmen in the world and if you play wrong against them, the ball goes out of the park. But as I say, we tried hard and unfortunately the result was wrong.
