Royal Challengers Bangalore star batsman Virat Kohli was seen chatting with young Vaibhav Suryavanshi after the IPL 2026 final. The video of the conversation between these two had gone viral on social media but at that time it was not known what Virat Kohli talked to this 15 year old child or what advice he gave him?
However, now the video of this conversation has surfaced in which Kohli was heard advising the 15-year-old player to play his natural game and not pay attention to what other people say. Kohli said in the video, “From here we have to go up. Whatever has happened has happened because of good hard work and faith. Don’t pay attention to who is saying what, how he is speaking. One Bihari is superior to everyone. Story is over.”
The bond between Kohli and Suryavanshi caught attention early in the season. After RCB’s match against Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati, Kohli met the youngster and signed his orange cap. Throughout the tournament, whenever Suryavanshi returned to the top of the run-scoring charts, he was seen donning the cap regularly.

Meanwhile, on the night of the final, he watched the match from the stands with ICC Chairman Jay Shah and was then seen winning awards one after another during the presentation ceremony. The teenager finished IPL 2026 as the leading run-scorer in the competition with 776 runs and won the Orange Cap. His strike rate of 237.3 earned him the Super Striker award, while his 72 sixes earned him the honor of hitting the most number of sixes in a single season, setting a new record.
