Haridwar. There was a stir in Bahadrabad area when a girl jumped into the Ganga canal with the intention of committing suicide. Some youth present at the spot risked their lives and rescued the girl safely. The girl has been admitted to the hospital.
It was told that a girl jumped into the Ganga canal. Then a young man risked his life and jumped into the canal and tried to save the girl. It is being told that the young man kept asking the girl repeatedly to come out, but the girl kept refusing to come out.
Meanwhile, other youths present nearby also showed courage and jumped into the canal and after a lot of effort, forcefully pulled the girl out. After the incident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. It is being told that when the girl’s health deteriorated, she was sent to the hospital for treatment.
The reasons for the girl’s jumping into the canal have not been known. Police is busy gathering information about the case. The youth who saved the girl is said to be from UP Muzaffarnagar.
