VIDEO: Baloch Liberation Army created its first naval wing, attacked Pakistan patrol ship and killed three personnel
New Delhi. The Baloch Liberation Army has raised a naval wing and released visuals of its first naval operation in Jiwani area of Gwadar. In a detailed statement, the group said it has created the Hammal Maritime Defense Force as its official naval division, which it described as the beginning of a national navy, aimed at protecting the Baloch maritime zone. BLA spokesperson Ziand Baloch said the unit carried out its first operation at around 10 am in the morning at a place called Mil Tiyab in Jiwani area, where its fighters reportedly targeted a patrol vessel of the occupying Pakistani Navy. The group claimed that all three personnel on board were killed, identified as Naik Afzal, Sepoy Jamil and Sepoy Umar.

After the operation its fighters successfully returned to their safe bases. The move to maritime borders represents a significant and strategic change in the BLA’s military approach after conducting operations on land, the statement said. The establishment of HMDF marks the beginning of a new phase in its mission. The Baloch national freedom movement has now reached a stage where even its maritime areas will become an inevitable graveyard for the enemy. The group said that this new naval contingent will always be ready to prevent maritime exploitation of Baloch resources, disrupt enemy naval activities and protect the captured coastline. BLA’s media wing, Haqqal, also released a two-minute 32-second video purportedly showing the attack. According to the footage released, four masked fighters are seen moving towards the sea and then boarding a speedboat. In the video, the fighters can be heard saying, as long as there is even a single son of Baloch alive on this earth, we will not let you live on this sea or this land. He said that we are ready today, we were ready yesterday also and we will be ready in the future also. You will be targeted everywhere.
