Dhurandhar series made a record of Rs 3000 crore at the box office

New Delhi: Espionage thriller series ‘Dhurandhar’ has created a new history at the box office. It has become the first film franchise from India to gross more than Rs 3,000 crore globally. This series, directed by Aditya Dhar, has left behind popular films like ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Baahubali’.

According to trade analysis website Sacnilk, ‘Dhurandhar’ (2025) and ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ (2026) together have made a business of Rs 3,019.35 crore. The first film grossed Rs 1,307.35 crore, while the second film crossed the Rs 1,712 crore mark. Before this, no Indian franchise had raised such a huge amount.

This achievement is all the more special because the film did not release in major international markets like China and the Gulf countries. Despite this, it has earned such a huge amount. On the fourth Monday, it collected Rs 5.20 crore in India and Rs 0.75 crore overseas, which is slowing down, but the overall figures are very impressive.
