PM Modi will be on a two-day visit to Sikkim from April 27, will hold a road show from helipad to Lok Bhawan.
PM will participate in programs organized at Lok Bhawan and Paljor Stadium
Gangtok. Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on Wednesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive here on April 27 as part of a two-day visit to the state. Tamang said that Modi will land at Libing helipad near Gangtok at around 3 o’clock. The Chief Minister said, the Prime Minister will participate in programs organized at Lok Bhawan and Paljor Stadium during his two-day visit.
The Prime Minister is expected to land at the Libing Army Helipad at 3 pm on April 27, the Chief Minister said at the silver jubilee celebrations of Sikkim Express, a leading English daily, at the Manan Centre. They will conduct a roadshow from the helipad to Lok Bhawan, for which the state government is making all necessary preparations.
Tamang said Modi will attend the celebrations organized at Paljor Stadium on April 28 to mark the 50th anniversary of the formation of Sikkim state. The Chief Minister of Sikkim appealed to the public to gather on the roadshow route to welcome the Prime Minister. He said that this is a big occasion when a small state like Sikkim will get the opportunity to welcome the Prime Minister.
