Bajaj Auto has launched a complete range of electric three-wheelers in India under its new WEGO brand. With this launch, the company has taken a big leap in the electric auto segment. The WEGO range includes both passenger and cargo vehicles, making it suitable for a variety of applications. These vehicles are specially designed to generate high yield at low cost keeping in mind city usage. Its initial ex-showroom price has been set at Rs 3,11,908. These vehicles offer a great combination of long range, modern features and robust design.

Various models and prices

The Bajaj WEGO range offers a range of options as per the needs of the customers. The P5009 variant of the P50 model is priced at Rs 3,11,908 and has a range of around 213 km on a single charge. The P5012 variant offers a range of 272 km and is priced at Rs 3,69,301.

The P7009 variant of the P70 model is priced at Rs 3,23,001 and has a range of 182 km. Whereas the P7012 variant runs up to 259 km and is priced at Rs 3,63,062.

The P90 is the model with the highest range, while its P9018 variant runs up to around 296 km. It costs Rs 4,48,303 lakh. In the cargo segment, the C9009 variant of the C90 model is priced at Rs 3,87,371 lakh and has a range of 149 km. The C9012 variant runs up to 207 km and is priced at Rs 4,34,128 lakh.

Powerful features and battery technology

Bajaj WEGO’s electric three-wheelers are known for their advanced technology in their segment. A larger and stronger design provides more space for passengers and cargo. It uses a monocoque chassis and metal body, which increases durability.

Features include all-LED lights, digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity and USB charging port. Safety features like hill hold assist, park assist and roll-over detection are also provided. It has three riding modes Eco, Power and Climb. A large battery of up to 17.7 kWh has been provided, and this car is fully charged in about 5 hours. Regenerative braking system increases battery efficiency.

Warranty and Service

The company is offering a 5-year warranty on the WEGO range. Along with this, the Roadside Assistance facility is also available, which provides immediate help in case of trouble during the journey. A network of more than 1500 service centers across the country makes servicing easy for customers, increasing confidence in these vehicles.
