During the meeting, Samrat Chaudhary was unanimously elected the leader.
This decision confirmed that Samrat Chaudhary would be the next Chief Minister of Bihar.
His name was proposed by Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha.

Samrat Chaudhary will take oath as Chief Minister on Wednesday at 11:00 am.
This function will be organized at Lok Bhawan.

Who is Samrat Chaudhary?
Samrat Choudhary currently serves as the Deputy Chief Minister and holds the charge of the Home Department.
He has also been the state president of Bihar BJP.
Earlier, he had served as the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council.

He hails from Munger district and is the son of Shakuni Chaudhary, one of the founding members of the Samata Party and a veteran leader.
His father was a former MP and MLA, and a close aide of Lalu Prasad Yadav.
