Tamil Nadu will fight and win, MK Stalin comes out to protest against the delimitation proposal, hoists a black flag and burns a copy of the bill

Tamil Nadu Delimitation: Today once again the battle of Delhi vs Chennai has intensified in the politics of Tamil Nadu. Under the leadership of Chief Minister MK Stalin, people took to the streets against the delimitation proposal of the central government. On Thursday morning, Chief Minister Stalin hoisted a black flag at his residence and burnt copies of the controversial bill.

Stalin clearly says that Tamil Nadu will not let its voice be suppressed and will fight till the last breath in this fight for rights. This protest has started at a time when the states of South India are afraid of reducing their political stake.

Stalin expressed protest by burning copies of the delimitation proposal

Chief Minister Stalin has tried to give a strong message to the Central Government through this demonstration. Black flags are flying outside his residence in Chennai and DMK workers across the state are taking the protest to the booth level. The Chief Minister has termed it a black law which is against the interests of the state.

He has called upon his supporters and the general public to register their displeasure against this injustice by putting black flags on every house and business establishment for the next three days. This protest is not limited to the capital only but has now spread to wards of every corporation, city and town in Tamil Nadu.

Effort to control population became a punishment for Tamil Nadu?

Stalin’s biggest argument is that southern states like Tamil Nadu contributed to the development of the country and successfully controlled the population. Now preparations are being made to punish him for this success. If Lok Sabha seats are determined only on the basis of population, then those states which have not controlled their population will benefit more.

Stalin’s question is whether the political power of the southern states will be taken away because of better performance. He alleged that through this process an attempt is being made to make the people of the South second class citizens in their own country.

Stalin upset over attempts to suppress the voice of southern states

Chief Minister MK Stalin had already warned people about this danger. He believes that the Central Government wants to further strengthen the political power of the Northern states through this amendment so that the influence of the Southern states can be completely limited. He has called this a big betrayal of the southern states.

Stalin warned that the basis of delimitation should not be mere head count or population. According to him, the Central Government is claiming that the number of seats will increase, but in reality this entire game is being played keeping in mind the needs of the northern states only.

Stalin gave the slogan

Meanwhile, Stalin also gave a slogan – ‘Tamil Nadu will fight and win’. Now this slogan has become popular on the lips of every protestor. He says that this fight has become not just for seats in Parliament but for regional identity and self-respect, which will no longer be easy for the Center to ignore.
