Prime Minister Modi said – Special session of Parliament will take historic steps towards women empowerment

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that the special session of Parliament starting today will prove to be a historic step towards women empowerment. He said that respect for mothers and sisters is the respect for the nation and with this feeling the country is moving forward strongly in this direction.

The Prime Minister also shared a Sanskrit subhashit on social media platform X, through which he underlined the importance of women’s knowledge and their role. It is well said in common – “Vyuchanti hi Rashmibhirvishwamabhasi rochanam.

The meaning of this Subhashit is that a woman illuminates the whole world by removing the darkness of ignorance with the light of her knowledge. Therefore, those who desire prosperity and good qualities always respect women. The Prime Minister said that through the special Parliament session, the country is going to take a strong and decisive step towards women empowerment.
