CM Samrat in full action, took class of officers, gave strict instructions

Patna. After assuming the power of Bihar, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary is seen in completely active mode. Since assuming office, he has increased the pace of administrative work and is constantly reviewing the functioning of government departments through meetings. On Thursday, he reached the Secretariat for the second consecutive day and held an important meeting with top officials.

Emphasis on accelerating development works

The Chief Minister held a meeting with the Principal Secretaries of all departments and gave a clear message that development schemes will no longer be implemented at a slow pace. He said that delay in public related works will not be accepted under any circumstances and every department will have to accomplish the target in a time bound manner. Along with this, instructions were also given to adopt a tough stance on corruption matters.

CM’s displeasure on file culture

In the meeting, Samrat Chaudhary clearly told the officers that mere paperwork and forwarding the files will not work. He stressed that the focus of the administration should be on real solutions to the problems. Especially instructions were given to settle land related matters on priority basis so that the common people can get relief.

Departmental Presentation and Inspection

A detailed presentation on the schemes was given by the Urban Development Department, which the Chief Minister listened to seriously. After this he also inspected the Secretariat premises and examined the arrangements there. This move reflects their active monitoring of the administrative system.

The Chief Minister’s day was not limited to meetings only. He also paid tribute to JP’s statue in Patna. After this he reached Patna Sahib Gurudwara and paid obeisance. Earlier, he met party workers, public representatives and common people at his residence, where a large number of people came to meet him.
