PM Narendra Modi On Women’s Reservation Bill: Dharmendra ji, I am grateful to you, Akhilesh ji is my friend, why did PM Narendra Modi say this in the Lok Sabha?

New Delhi. While speaking in the Lok Sabha on the Women’s Reservation Bill, something happened that Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked SP MP Dharmendra Yadav and called Akhilesh Yadav his friend. Hearing this from Modi, all the members including Akhilesh Yadav smiled and Akhilesh greeted Modi with folded hands. What actually happened was that when PM Modi was speaking, Dharmendra Yadav interrupted him and said that the backward castes have been sidelined in the bill. You yourself, being from a backward caste, did not pay attention to the backward people. The whole country is watching this.

On this point of SP MP, Modi said, Dharmendra ji, I am very grateful to you that you identified me. It is true that I come from a very backward society. Akhilesh ji (Yadav) is my friend, so sometimes he helps me. It is true that I come from a very backward section of the society, but it is my responsibility to take everyone along. The Constitution has shown me this path and for me the Constitution is supreme. Such is the strength of our Constitution that a person like me, who comes from a very simple and backward background, has been entrusted with such a huge responsibility by the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, there has already been a delay regarding women’s reservation, whatever may be the reason, whoever may be responsible, but we have to accept the truth that when we meet alone, we say ‘yes man’, but when we meet collectively, I remember that when the process of this was going on, we have met all the parties, except one party, everyone with whom we have met, not everyone has expressed opposition in principle. Whatever may have happened later, the political direction is being taken.
