Ceasefire announced between Lebanon and Israel for 10 days, Donald Trump gave information

While sharing this information on social media platform Truth Social on Thursday, Trump said that he had a very good conversation with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Both the leaders have agreed to a 10-day ceasefire to maintain peace between their countries. This decision has been taken with the aim of reducing the increasing tension in the area. This ceasefire will come into effect from 5 pm on Thursday, American time.

The US President also said that on Tuesday, for the first time in 34 years, representatives of Israel and Lebanon met in Washington D.C. Met in. US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio also participated in this meeting. In this sequence, Trump has instructed Vice President JD Vance, Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Dan Razin Kane to work together with Israel and Lebanon towards lasting peace.
