KDA clamps down on illegal construction, 6800 square meters sealed, notice on Rs 18 thousand
Kanpur. Strict action is being taken continuously against illegal construction and plating without approval. People must get approval information from the authority before purchasing land.
Strict action will continue against those who violate the rules and if the construction is not removed within the stipulated time, demolition will be carried out. These things were said by Special Executive Officer/Sub District Magistrate Dr. Ravi Pratap Singh on Thursday.
The enforcement team of Kanpur Development Authority in Shuklaganj-Unnao area took massive action on Thursday and sealed illegal construction in about 6800 square meter area.
Illegal plating being done in about 6000 square meters by Deshraj Chauhan and others in village Devara Khurd was sealed. At the same time, sealing action was also taken on about 800 square meter guest house which was being operated without approval by Gauri Shukla and others. The process of handing over both the premises to police custody is going on.
Apart from this, a case came to light in Pindokha area of a builder removing the plaque of an already sealed premises and starting construction again. On this, the authority again took sealing action and has started the process of filing a case against the concerned person.
Demolition notice has been issued against the illegal plating being done in about 10 thousand square meters by Abhishek Katiyar, Sushil Katiyar and others in Singhpur Cachar area. The builders have been instructed to remove the illegal construction themselves within 15 days, otherwise action will be taken with the help of police force.
In the investigation of the authority, illegal plotting has also been identified in about 8000 square meters in Devara Khurd and Pindokha areas, where the approved map was not presented. If no response is received in these cases, sealing and demolition action will be taken.
KDA has appealed to the common people that before purchasing any plot or land, they must get information about its validity and layout approval, so that financial and legal problems can be avoided in future. The authority has also clarified that this campaign against illegal construction will continue in future also.
