Delhi NCR weather update: Relief from storm and rain, IMD’s yellow alert, heat will increase again

Delhi-The weather has suddenly changed its course in NCR, Noida and Greater Noida. For the last several days, people were troubled due to the scorching heat and heat wave. Hot winds were blowing and the temperature was continuously increasing. But the weather suddenly changed on Friday evening. A strong storm started blowing and with it it started raining in many areas. At some places there was only light drizzle, while at some places it rained heavily. When it rained after the strong dusty winds, the whole atmosphere became completely pleasant. Same situation prevailed in Noida and Greater Noida also. The rain after the dust storm reduced the heat to a great extent. People are considering this sudden rain as a big relief from the heat. Many people came out happy and started enjoying this coolness.

The Meteorological Department (IMD) had already issued a yellow alert for the entire NCR region including Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Gurugram. The department had said that there could be light to moderate rain and strong winds along with thunderstorms. According to meteorologists, this rain and storm has occurred due to active western disturbance. Due to rain and strong winds, the temperature in Delhi has dropped by 6 to 8 degrees Celsius. This has brought a lot of relief to the people. However, the air became a little dirty due to dust blowing with strong storms. But after the rain, the effect of dust has reduced in many areas.

What will the weather be like ahead?

According to the Meteorological Department, this relief is not going to last for long. After two-three days the temperature will start rising again.

Saturday’s (tomorrow’s) weather:

The sky will be cloudy all day long

there will be moisture in the air

The maximum temperature can reach 41 degrees Celsius

The minimum temperature is likely to be around 21 degrees Celsius.

The weather condition is going to remain the same for the next four days i.e. it will be cloudy, there will be light humidity, but the heat will be seen increasing again.
